Maybe itunes can do this too, but I don't use it like that. but some apps like ifunbox can extract the ipa from the device. The way I back up is downloading the app via iTunes 12.5.5.5. On Mac, I think the version of iTunes that last did that was the one associated with OS X.6 (Snow Leopard). ![]() Someone posted yo that effect here a few months ago. ![]() Someone gave me the impression that Windows iTunes still retrieves ipa when backing up.
